Director’s Statement
W hy do I think this film deserves to be filmed?
Because it deals with discovery of sexualty from the first hand angle of an eight-year-old girl and shows the intensity and speed with which the experience of the world changes at that age. Because, in addition to the distinctly childlike perspective that is in the foreground, we also see some of the attitudes towards the same topic from the point of view of three women of different ages (Vesna, Anica and Nana). Because, by the way, it touches on the influence of society in the acquisition of knowledge and values in children. The film should remind you of the excitement that is felt when various things are still incomprehensible and are revealed for the first time.
